“See-Through” Digital Camera Lense now available

Filed under: Digital Camera Reviews — Admin @ 9:58 am

An undisclosed US company have developed a camera lense that purportedly can see through clothes and other hard surfaces. The probability of such a product being mass-marketed is scant due to privacy issues. The “Infrared See-Through Filter PF” is a special optical device that visually penetrates an object’s surface to see what lies beneath, something akin to an upgraded version of x-ray vision. Sounds far fetched, but advanced optical technology has managed to break new frontiers.

Publisher: in the past, some camcorders with night-vision features have been pulled out of the market…

Canon EOS 5D offers best bang for buck

The D-SLR category has undergone an overhaul with the new Canon EOS 5D. At $3,300, it offers the best performance in its class due to a potent combination of prosumer design and professional performance. that includes features like a full-frame sensor, the ability to fine-tune ISO settings, and shutter speed that reaches 1/8000. Although the LCD is a little underpowered and it does take quite a while getting used to the settings, the EOS 5D should be at the top of every photographer’s wish list this holiday season.

Maxian T600 peek

Maxian T600 peek

Here’s a peek at the Maxian T600. The T600 is a video recorder that comes in 20GB or 30GB configurations. It has a generous 4” WQVGA widescreen color TFT LCD that displays up to 16.7 million pixels. Connectivity is achieved via a USB cable. The interface looks rather bland with its minimalist design, which could be miscontrued as boring. For its size, its relatively lightweight save for the fact that the ugly battery hump behind makes it look like Quasimodo.
