Fujifilm Finepix E900

Fujifilm Finepix E900
The Fuji Finepix E900 is a compact digital camera that is capable of snapping 9 Megapixel pictures. While the number of pixel in an image is not the only criteria that define image quality, it might be an indication of how advanced the technology is. I think that for cameras with such small lenses, the average user would be satisfied with 6 Megapixel and above. The Fuji E900 has a 4x optical zoom, stores the photos on an XD card, which is a curious choice. SD or Compact Flash would have been more convenient in my opinion. It runs on two AA batteries, which is very practical when traveling. Full review at  letsgodigital

OTG smart hard drive enclosure

If you don’t want to carry a laptop to dump your digital photos to a hard drive, the OTG hard drive enclosure might be for you. It receives a 2.5-inch (laptop style) hard drive powered by 4 AA batteries or an external power supply. Upon connection to another USB storage device, it will initiate the copy of all the files found.

Olympus Mju Digital 600 Review

Filed under: Digital Camera Reviews — Admin @ 9:41 pm

The Olympus Mju Digital 600 is a 6 megapixel compact digital camera with a weatherproof body that is resistant to water spray. Standout features on the Olympus Mju 800 include a large 2.5 inch LCD screen (although there is no room for an optical viewfinder), 23 different scene modes for the novice user, and a Super Macro mode that focuses as close as 7cm from your subject. Olympus have also incorporated some completely new ideas. BrightCapture Technology automatically brightens the LCD screen in dark conditions to enable better framing and better image results in low light. A new Image Blur Reduction mode reduces the possibility of image blur created by a moving subject or camera movement. The Red-Eye Fix editing function removes red-eye effects from photos already saved in the Olympus Mju Digital 600’s memory. So does all of this add up to make the Olympus Mju Digital 600 the perfect pocket camera for you? Read my extensive review to find out.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ30

Panasonic’s latest in the Lumix line, the DMC-FZ30 has some pretty nifty features. It comes with an unlimited consecutive shooting option that allows you to shoot 3 frames per second at full resolution until you run out of memory. Great for those who don’t want to miss a critical moment. The DMC-FZ30 comes with many features that beats all other 5 megapixel zoom cameras out there, but in terms of a quantum leap over its predecessor, it failed to raise the bar by much. Hitachi CP-X443 network projector

Hitachi CP-X443 network projector

Hitachi’s CP-X443 network-ready LCD projector comes with a built-in DHCP client and its very own physical address that enables you to hook it up to a webserver, making it possible for you to log into the projector over the network via a web browser. Unfortunately, it cannot display images over the network. The CP-X443’s relatively cheap price reflects the fact that it is definitely not the brightest in its class nor does it possess extensive networking features. Overall an all-rounder with great color.
