SatuGO bouncing camera
The SatuGO web/digital camera will not fall with a sickening thud when you knock it over accidentally from your desk to the floor. The digital camera comes with 1GB of NAND memory that fit within several protective layers. The moment the SatuGO falls to the ground, it will take a 3-megapixel photo. Timer and flash functions are included for webcam purposes. The SatuGO is expected to retail for $69 or so. Via Gadget Review

The Olympus E-330 claims to be the first DSLR camera with a live color LCD preview function. Long available in regular digital cameras, it is now the turn for mighty DSLR cameras to enjoy the benefits. The E-330 offers a tilt-and-swivel 2.5” LCD screen, a 7.1 megapixel sensor, 3fps shooting capability and ultrasonic dust-removal system. Sony’s new Handycam DCR-SR100 comes with a mammoth 30GB HDD, capable of holding up to 7 hours and 20 minutes of HQ video (9Mbps). This gives you the freedom to take as many scenes as you want without wrecking your head to delete a few when the memory limit is reached. The advanced shock proof design offers unprecedented protection to the HDD even during recording. The upgrade to Panasonic’s Lumix DMC-FZ5 is the new DMC-FZ7. It uses a Leica lens and has a whiff of Leica-inspired design on the whole. The DMC-FZ7 packs a 6-megapixel CCD that comes with a superb 12x optical zoom. It incorporates a High Sensitivity mode as well, providing the ability to shoot up to ISO 1600.
