An undisclosed US company have developed a camera lense that purportedly can see through clothes and other hard surfaces. The probability of such a product being mass-marketed is scant due to privacy issues. The “Infrared See-Through Filter PF” is a special optical device that visually penetrates an object’s surface to see what lies beneath, something akin to an upgraded version of x-ray vision. Sounds far fetched, but advanced optical technology has managed to break new frontiers.
